Background

The Municipality of Marmora and Lake in Hasting County is a beautiful, thriving little municipality in central southern Ontario. It is equidistant from Toronto and Ottawa and the main village is located along Hwy 7, a major transportation route for trucks and vehicles travelling to and through those destinations. Marmora and Lake is a desirable place to work, live, vacation, and retire; by providing a clean natural environment, varied sources of recreation, excellent services, and reasonable taxes. 

Since 1991 the Greensides Farm near the Blue Estate has attracted many thousands of people from Canada and beyond drawn by reports of apparitions of the Virgin Mary, unusual celestial phenomena, refreshing spring water said to have miraculous healing properties, and a hilltop Stations of the Cross trail.

The reason I bought the property

The reason why I decided to buy this particular property 320 Km. from Toronto

 

Before the turn of the twentieth century it was known that in Marmora, Ontario there was an apparition of the Virgin Mary at Greenside Farm in Marmora, Ontario in 1991. Buses from Toronto were organised on weekends with the pilgrims to witness not only the unusual colour rotation of the sun, but also to taste the springs on the hills of the healing waters that come out of the ground there. A ten minutes distance walk from there was this property for sale which I bought due to the healing water, in the first place in March 1997.The buses from Ontario and Quebec are frequently on weekends' visitors list to take back the healing water, which I consume daily up to now. 

 

Greenside Farm: Dory Tan Visionary, Marmora Ontario

Buses and cars are visiting this farm which has alreadycreated the Way of Cross since the last century.An important fact is known that there are four springs of water, which do not dry out even during the hot summers. People come fromToronto, and as far as Quebec and are coming to pray and take the water which in many cases acts as healing water.
